People are more than comfortable denying any inconvenient truth, even when it is considered  to be overwhelmingly evident by an unbias evaluator. In the case of determinaning the authenticity of divine appointmenship claims a.k.a Imam Mahdi Claimants, many, especially those in the west have reassured themselves that there is nothing to worry about in that regard because The Mahdi can only come out or appear/reappear from a very specific place, down to the spot where he will stand. And to top it off, he will come out in that exact spot during a very specific time usually believed to be the month of Ramadan but often the exact day is also specified.  Why they seem so sure of themselves when they are following the teachings of those who clearly can't even agree amonst themselves is something you will have to ask them. From where I'm standing, all they managed to accomplish by latching on to this relatively insignificant detail is allow themselves a luxury enjoyed only by those destined to be ever lost. But since I have now shifted my attention to those deemed more worthy of my guidance, I will start by using this page to dismantle any and all of their delusions that The Mahdi, whomever he turns out to be, will come out anywhere other than The U. S. of A and from the city of Detroit in Michigan. And I will do so the way I do everything, by using their own evidence and prophecies against them. Part I will debunk the presently held beliefs about The Mahdi's origins and the place of his rising while Part II will introduce and follow multiple paths of reasoning from many different angels, all of which will lead to the same conclusion I stated above.
